    • How did you choose?

      • teacher comfort level
      • students needs and preferences
      • kind of learning experience (e.g. introduction, practice, reinforcing, assessment)
      • relevance for learning goal

Small Group Discussion:

Form groups of similar grade level placements to discuss your planning guides.
  1. Each member should share one planning sheet and discuss selections (activity types and technologies), noting rationale and how you arrived at the particular choices. Group members should then help think through possible alternatives, noting rationale.
  2. After each member has worked through one planning sheet, a new round should begin so that each group member is able to talk through all three planning sheets with the group.
  3. Each group member should select the most promising combination of learning activities and technologies that reflect an effective effort to integrate technology into their teaching.
